COOKING CLASSES
I learned to cook alongside my Oaxacan mother-in-law. As tradition
would have it, once married, my husband and I took up residence in the family compound where I became Doņa Angela´s chief apprentice. She graciously shared with me her immense knowledge of traditional cooking whether we were simply preparing the daily comida for our family of 13 or creating complicated dishes destined for the Feast of the Day of the Dead or a village wedding. This experience of hands on learning is what I now offer to you in cooking classes at my home in Oaxaca City (maximum 12 people). We cook an entire meal from soup to nuts and then sit down together to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

LARGER GROUPS
Another mode involves demonstration classes for up to 35 people with
tasting session or full meal included. If you organize a group, I will travel anywhere in the USA. I have been to Boston, Berkeley and Palo Alto to give hands on classes and will soon be going to New York City.
